What To Eat: My Favorite Golf Snacks
It is very important to keep your energy up during a round of golf and there is no better way of doing that than by snacking throughout your round. So, what are my go to snacks??
1. Larabars-Larabars are fruit and nut bars that are full of protein and will keep you full. My favorite flavors? Banana Bread, Apple Pie, Peanut Butter Cookie, PB&J, Cherry Pie, Chocolate Chip Coconut, and Pecan Pie
2. No Bake Energy Bites-Wow. These things are amazing. Just look them up on Pinterest to see what I’m talking about
3. Almond Pops with Cranberry-These little snacks are nice and light for a hot day. They will not leave you feeling heavy after eating them. They are little clusters of rice puffs, almonds, and craisins. Just grab three or four and throw them in your bag.
4. Gatorade- My final essential is Gatorade. Gatorade is important for those long, hot days when you are sweating out all sorts of things that your body needs to be replenished of. I love the red and blue flavors but it’s really just what ever you prefer. Reminder: Also bring a water bottle. Gatorade is not an adequate substitute for it.
